The Department of Urology offers the complete range of state-of-the-art urology services from diagnostics to surgical procedures. This includes all urological cancers, malformations, trauma, stone diseases, infections and neurogenic and non-neurogenic dysfunctions of the urogenital tract that affect storage and emptying functions as well as problems with male fertility and sexuality.

Our department is active in a broad range of academic disciplines, which is reflected by a multitude of special consultations with knowledgeable experts and our surgical repertoire. The latter ranges from open surgery and microsurgical interventions to minimally invasive transurethral, laparoscopic, robotic and laser-assisted operations.

Our department's research areas are organized into the following centers:

  • Multidisciplinary Center for Uro-oncology (tumor surgery)
  • Center for Minimally Invasive/Robotic Surgery
  • Center for Reconstructive and Prosthetic Urology
  • Center for BPH (prostate enlargement)/Functional Urology
  • Center for Stone Therapy

We focus on providing modern therapy that is in line with current guidelines and tailored to our patients' needs in order to restore quality of life and promote healing.
